We welcome new members in all sections of the choir.  There are no auditions, and the main criteria for membership are simply the ability to sing in tune, and a commitment to regular attendance at rehearsals.

The ability to read music is clearly helpful, but not essential, as the basics can be picked up quite quickly.  There are also plenty of rehearsal websites to help singers learn the music they are performing.

If you think you might like to join us, we suggest you start by coming to one or two rehearsals to try us out and see if we suit each other.  The first step would be to email our Secretary (secretary@rosschoral.org) so that we can make arrangements for someone to welcome you when you arrive, and provide you with music.

If you then decide you would like to join us, the annual subscription (2022/23) is £130, with reduced rates for students.  Subscriptions can be paid by instalments.
